This program allows you to create a virtual encrypted disk stored as a file. TrueCrypt can also be used to fully encrypt an entire partition or other storage media, such as a USB flash drive. All data stored in a TrueCrypt volume is fully encrypted, including file and directory names. Once mounted, a TrueCrypt volume behaves like a regular drive, so you can use standard disk checking and defragmentation tools with it.
