It's a time-based survival roguelike where you don't shoot with button presses. Instead, your character automatically attacks continuously. Your job is to move, dodge hordes of monsters, and make strategic decisions about gear and evolution.
Vampire Survivors is a hypnotic, addictive loop of survival, progression, and overpowered build creation. It's less about precise shooting and more about strategic movement and smart character building as you mow down thousands of creatures in a spectacle of chaotic pixel art.
Heavily inspired by late-80s/early-90s Castlevania games, with similar Gothic horror pixel art and enemy designs.
Screen gets incredibly chaotic with thousands of projectiles, enemies, and particles—creating a satisfying spectacle when your build "comes online."
