Ashampoo Burning Studio 25 is a comprehensive and user-friendly CD, DVD, and Blu-ray burning suite for Windows. It's designed to make disc creation, backup, and data management tasks accessible to both beginners and power users. The program focuses on reliability, a clean interface, and covering all the essential burning needs without the bloatware common in other solutions.

Data Discs: Burn files and folders to CD, DVD, Blu-ray (BD-R/RE), and even M-Discs for ultra-long-term archiving.

Audio CDs: Create audio CDs from MP3, WMA, FLAC, WAV, and other audio formats. Includes features like crossfading and automatic volume normalization.

Video Discs: Burn video files to create DVDs and AVCHD discs with playable menus on home players. It also supports creating Blu-ray video discs (BDMV).

Disc Copying: Easily duplicate CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays (subject to copyright restrictions and DRM protection).

Create backups of your important files and folders to discs, ISO images, or directly to hard drives/network locations.

Administrator Rights: You need administrator privileges to install the software.

Hardware vs. Software: To actually burn Blu-ray discs, you must have a physical Blu-ray writer drive in your computer. A standard DVD drive will not work for BD media.

.NET Framework: Some components may require a current version of Microsoft .NET Framework (usually already included in Windows 10/11).

Drivers: The program uses Windows' built-in burning drivers, so no special drivers are required. However, ensuring your optical drive's drivers are up-to-date is always a good practice.
